Kaplan MCAT Reference books are cornerstone reference materials.

If you are someone – like me – who feels uneasy without every MCAT topic a few feet away from you: you ought to buy this set. I still consider the AAMC, followed by Khan Academy, as the ultimate Test Prep resources. However, Kaplan does a tremendous job of organizing the original course material in twelve-chapter pages.

I would not make this nor their practice exams your primary self-study means. HOWEVER, this is a terrific book to learn topics for the first time in a reading format, followed by Khan Academy. I used Kaplan and still use the books to reference Pre-Med building blocks.

Well worth the purchase. Even if you don’t use it, it is a beautifully succinct reference case for all your Pre-Med knowledge later in life. Not to mention the formula sheet is incredible, and goes nicely with your first MCAT dining experience.
